The Ball State University singers will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on February 23rd in the McHale Performing Arts Center. Performing with them will be the Logansport HIgh School Swing Choir.
The University Singers have been called "Indiana's Official Goodwill Ambassadors", and are nationally and internationally known as one of America's finest collegiate show choirs. For over fifty years, they have been entertaining audiences through their songs of faith, hope, laughter, and love. Recent Logansport High School graduate, Caleb Sholty, is a member of the group this year.
The Logansport High School Swing Choir also has a long tradition of excellence, dating back to its inception in the late 1940s as one of the first school choral groups in Indiana with an emphasis on American popular song.
Admission to the concert will be free, with free-will donations being accepted to support the activities of the LHS choir program.
The appearance of the University Singers is sponsored by Logansport Memorial Hospital.
